So right now I’m learning a transcription of the Chili Peppers big hit. It’s fairly challenging with a mix of 4/4 time and a mix of up/down strokes mixed into the general rhythm. I’m using Spotify and Songsterr to get a general feel for the notes while I practice. I like doing that so I can hear the tones and see a different transcription to the one provided by Maurice. Songsterr seems good for that, but I’m not using the paid system yet. Their paid system allows you to slow down the music, do repeating and a load of other stuff but until I feel I’ve progressed enough, I don’t want to invest in a paid subscription just yet. – Mike C
